The
private live-aboard in Palau
Welcome to Ocean Hunter III, the latest and most luxurious
addition to the Ocean Hunter Fleet in Palau. The boat represents
25 years of knowledge in the liveaboard industry and like
all of our liveaboards was designed by divers, for divers.
Ocean Hunter III will be diving the reefs of Palau, plus
special trips to places such as Yap. As usual with Ocean
Hunter fleet, you have the knowledge and hospitality of
our very experienced local crew.
The
Ocean Hunter crew can more accurately be described as a
"family". Unlike the bigger liveaboard boats who
change crews and captains often, this family-run business
offers you the same famous service and local knowledge.
 About
the diving
Ocean Hunter III will be travelling to all the usual spots
and more! Not only will you be diving all the world-famous
spots of Palau such as the fabled Blue Corner, we'll be
taking her further afield too. Trips are planned to the
Southwest Islands of Palau / Northern Papua New Guinea,
Yap and the Outer Islands of Yap, The Northern Marianas

These
virtually undived reefs are in pristine condition and represent
a once-in-a-lifetime diving experience.
Explore
Palau's famous reefs, wrecks, lakes and the beautiful Rock
Islands with a maximum of only 16 guest on board and a shallow
draft that allows for uncrowded dive sites and maximum flexibility.

Vessel
The
Ocean Hunter III has a large main deck with saloon, galley
and big dive deck. Guest quarters are located upstairs or
downstairs from here, the spacious sundeck leaves plenty
of space to relax between dives.
 Accommodation
Ocean Hunter III has 3 standard cabins, 3 deluxe cabins
and 2 master staterooms all with private bath and a/c, and
accommodates up to 16 guests with personal attention and
plenty of space. There is a large dining room and a comfortable
salon with sofas and an entertainment system.
Itinerary
The beauty of live-aboard diving around Palau is that distances
between dive sites are very short compared to some other
destinations. This allows the itinerary to be very flexible
as the only restrictions are tidal patterns and the general
weather conditions. Ocean Hunter offers 7 day and extended
10 or 12 day cruises.
 You
can dive as much as you like or take it easy and explore
some of the beautiful lagoons and caves in the Rock Islands
area. With only twelve people on board your personal wishes
and interest will be catered for. Of course the crew also
has a number of dive sites that they
want to show you!
Features

diving - Many boats advertise this, but only a few will
truly let you dive as much as you want.

dive time - As long as you and your buddy have enough
bottom time and air, you can continue the underwater exploration.
- Freedom
underwater - The dive masters and captain will assist
you and accompany every dive, but if you want to explore
on your own, they will not hassle you.
- Night
dives on every night - OH offer great night diving on
every night. The small size allows you to spend the night
right on Palau's dive sites.

TV and Film production, with a sizeable working area,
110, 220 and 415 volt electrical outlets, extra storage
space, and E-6 processing available overnight. Ocean Hunter
III offers powerful PC’s for movie and video editing.
